1 word to sum up England’s 2nd match..

Perhaps Soccernet summarised the game nicely in the following way:
England secured their place in the knockout rounds of the World Cup with a 2-0 victory over Trinidad & Tobago - but the scoreline masks the ineptitude of the display. Late goals from Peter Crouch (84) and Steven Gerrard (90) finally did for the Caribbean nation. Wayne Rooney made his return from injury but lacked sharpness.
And it’s painful to watch Gerrard play in a holding role, which he is of cos capable of, but not the best that you can get out of him. One just has to look back a year ago in the Champions League Final when Liverpool trailed AC Milan 0-3 at half time. Gerrard was shackled in the same position and was unable to contribute to the attack. 2nd half, Benitez switched him to play behind the strikers and what a transformation. Gerrard in his current position for england, is like a ferrari trapped in a traffic jam, and having to watch Lampard waste chance after chance would be painful.
So what, even if qualify for last 16?
