I was crossing the road just now behind Teachers’ Network, when i saw this group of teachers who were on course, going back to the campus after lunch. The strange thing was that there’s a member among them who is visually handicapped, needs a guidestick and all.

Now her friends were trying to guide her across the 2-lane-per-side road, and get this, they were attempting to bring her across the road by jaywalking less than 50m away from a traffic light. I really have no idea wtf are they thinking, those colleagues of hers. Convenience perhaps, but to bring a lady who has problems seeing to cross the road not just illegally but dangerously.

Friends? sure not?
