I had the opportunity to attend this BBQ, which I thought that I would be able to make it.  So 2 weeks ago, I told the organiser that yes, I would probably be able to make it.  So I only have myself to blame when S23 had our own gathering on the same day.  My principle has never changed, if my jc classmates wanna meet up, they sorta of take priority.  My wrong when i didn’t inform the bbq organiser that I not gonna show up.  They wanted me to pay for my share, fair enuff..but 16 fucking dollars?

I managed to find out that 17 out of 20 pax turned up, and the food selection included stuff like stingray, which isn’t that cheap.  Neither is it THAT expensive.  Do the maths lor…

20 pax x $16/pax = $320

In the 1st place, for that money, I can have a good meal @ say Fish n’ Co or Marche.  Now come to the fact that even if u dun go and eat, you still must pay, even though the excess food would have been finished.  So now we take,

$320 / 17 = $18.82/pax

3 dollars more doesn’t seem alot to me if u get to eat more food.  Unless  the extra food represents a cost to you, being forced to eat.

Say wanna go then never go, forced to pay.  LPPL.  Gentleman’s word, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t complain about it here..
